Bike Friday OSATA Fleet Bike

Learn to ride with the OSATA bike.  Ask us how you can add this bike to your educational program.

OSATA means “One Size Adjusts to All” and it’s as amazing as it sounds. Build for a learn-to-ride program(“Safe Routes To School”) and now we have fleets all over the country for rental programs among other programs.  Truly one amazing bike that is inspiring youth all over our country. Speaking of fleets, this is the perfect bike for any bike rental, cruise ship, lake-side bike rental program, university bike share, city bike share, Google Bikes Share program, or anything else you could imagine where a fleet of bikes would be great.

But wait there is more. OSATA has a super easy adjustable frame to fit anyone 4 foot 6 to 6 foot 4. Not being a folding bike actually seems to make it easier and faster for many people to pack into the TravelCase for air travel. It comes apart in the middle where it adjusts.(never fear…we can make this into a folding bike as well, just ask)

It offers the same, smooth Bike Friday ride you know and love.

What makes the OSATA unique is that it is a fully-adjustable bike so it can easily be set-up for almost any rider.

The seat-post, handle-bar post, and the body frame are all adjustable and can fit riders from 4’6″ – 6’4″. Because of our quick-adjust you only need one tool on two bolts otherwise it’s a tool-less bike.

This bike is designed for fleet-sales only and only built from Nov.-March.  Handmade in Eugene, Oregon by our amazing bike building staff.

We love the adaptability of the OSATA fleet bikes we use for our Bike Safety Education program. To have bikes that adjust to fit our students; whether we are teaching 5th graders, do more advanced classes in our middle schools, have bike trips with older students, or even lead tours for visiting adults we have a flexible fleet that works for any situation. Being able to customize the fleet with the components we wanted was also very useful.

Finally, knowing we were supporting a company with great ethics and quality Made in America bikes was an added bonus. (One hope for improvement is better headsets that don't loosen- we're still having issues with this).

How many bikes is enough to have a “fleet”? Do you have examples of programs that have used a grant to help purchase bikes? What is your bulk pricing?
