Love our Two'sDay

It says the bike fits into the trunk of an SUV, but heck it fits in our Corolla trunk, you do not need an SUV to haul it around. My husband and I love riding this bike and enjoying the trip together (which is very different from being on 2 bikes). The Two'sDay is very smooth and sturdy and the small wheels make it easy on/off. Support from the company is prompt and awesome, Be prepared to attract a lot of (good) attention riding it.

It does what it says

If you want a tandem that folds to fit into the boot of your car then the Tandem Two'day does just that. We are in the UK and bought ours in 2004 with the desire to take it on trains. We used to take the seat posts out, fold the back end round and this makes it the length of a solo bike space on a train We live in a seaside resort so lots of holiday makers and not much bike space on the trains particularly as cycling has become more popular so we take the easier option of the car now. The design and engineering of a Bike Friday is amazing. I wanted a 14 speed Rohloff hub when i purchased but was dissuaded by the Bike Friday consultant. They were new then and he didn't recommend because of the complexity of the cabling connection. I guess that will have improved now and although they are a significant cost you will save yourself the cost of having to replace worn chain sets . The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that small wheeled bikes are not really suitable for unmade cycle paths. What I want now is a tandem with electric assist to increase my range for day rides without having to bother with a car or trains 🙂
