I am using an early SatRday recumbent to cycle from one end of the UK to the other [Land's End to John O'Groats].

And as it's about 900 miles at 80 miles a day, I am having to train.

As I am having to train I thought I would race -- probably for the one and only time.

So I spent two hours sweating around a closed motor racing circuit in southern England -- at 15.4mph average -- and coming in last. Then I got grief from the guy who has always come last before.....
