Fawcett & Company Cycling Expeditions was born from a great love of cycling and adventure and a sincere belief that nothing compares to the experience of traveling by mountain bike. It’s not where you go but how you get there that makes all the difference.

Italy Expedition: Our  expedition in Italy begins next to the Colosseum in the heart of Rome and concludes in the Piazza della Signoria in Florence. This ride incorporates ancient trails including Via Francigena – the ancient pilgrimage route from Canterbury to Rome, forest roads, mountain biking trails, low-tra?c secondary and unpaved gravel roads including the Strada Bianca or White Road, which criss-crosses Tuscany and passes through the most breathtaking scenery in the region. The most challenging aspect of this ride is the cumulative climbing. There is an average 1,500 meters of climbing per day with 3 days over 2,000 meters and no days below 1,000 meters.

This year we have a great group coming. We will meet in Rome on May 28 and finish on June 6 in Florence. Our Italian partners, Roberto and Massimo of Progetto Avventura will be waiting for us and it will be great to see them. Everyone is looking forward to amazing food & wine. We are lucky to have Peter Zambri, Master Chef and Owner of Zambri's in Victoria BC on the trip.

The Mongolia Bike Challenge presented by Orbea: We have spent the year helping Willy put together another epic race. The MBC has continued to attract amazing people from around the world. This year there will be racers from at least 15 countries represented on the starting line. We also have a world-class media team coming, ensuring maximum exposure for the race and our sponsors. Pinkbike came on as the Official Media Sponsor of the MBC sending Aaron Larocque, Nic Genovese and Margus Riga to document all the action - we can't wait to see what they can do there.

Nourish: Rob's wife Hayley Rosenburg recently reopened her restaurant, Nourish Cafe & Bistro, after a winter of renovations. Nourish has a new look, a new team, and some new energy, but has continued its main goal - to serve real, wholesome, healthy & delicious food...with love! It's a great space to ride your bike by for a mid-ride coffee or after-ride refueling.
