Bicycles are the solution to many problems: the environment, health, community, congestion, obesity, and sustainability.

Much of Paul's bicycling experience was gained while touring, racing and guiding. He's also worked as a bike messenger, shop service manager in Palo Alto, California, and graphic designer at Adventure Cycling Association. With a BFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University, Paul designed the sites for both the League of American Bicyclists and the National Center for Bicycling & Walking.

As a bicycle activist, Paul serves as the President of the GEARs club in Eugene. With his wife and 4 kids, Paul gets around Eugene, Oregon in human powered style on his Family Triple and the Burley D'Lite.
