She's was the Queen Marine...

Sunday was Gaylynn's memorial. I learned one interesting fact about her I didn't know. Her father was a US Marine, and Gay took up the Marine attitude at a very young age. That explains a lot about her personality.

The Marines are the first in and the last out, they say. They are supposed to be the toughest and bravest. They're sort of like Spartans. The Marine boot camp is the toughest, they're uniform standards are the highest, they're likely the proudest. They have attitude and pride in their identity to a far greater extent than I noticed anywhere else in the armed services. They're the ones that go in when heads are likely to get blown off.
