Fantastic book.

I just finished your book yesterday and I didn't want it to end. I read a lot of travel books, and this is one of the best ones I've ever read. It's so honest, down to earth and funny. I lived in Brazil for nine years and had a full time healing arts/massage practice. A few of my friends went to Cuba, but none came back with the kinds of stories that you did.

In case you haven't been to Powell's recently, your book is in a great spot and very visible. I read quite a bit before I bought it (on Sunday) and told the cashiers about it; they said they wanted to read it, too.

It would be fun to meet sometime and talk about travelling and writing.
