For those that may be interested the American Lung Association Emigrant
Trails Bike Trek will be 9, 10 and 11 September of 2005.
The ride will start day 2 at Cisco Grove (about 40 miles from Lake Tahoe)
and go over a summit to Donner Lake. On day 2 there are a variety of
rides of varied intensity up around the Tahoe City, Truckee and Squaw
Valley areas. Day 3 we all ride back to Cisco Grove. There will be side
loops available for any who are interested. This is a 3 day fully
supported trek. (You don't have to carry anything, cook anything or do
anything but ride and party) whose goal is to raise money for the Lung
Association. It does require minimal fund raising ($395.00) which is less
than you would pay for most supported tours. Their web site is

Peddlers".
