Bike Friendly Bermuda!

Hi Lynette,

Just to let you guys know, Bermuda is bike friendly. Went on a Celebrity Cruise this past September, and its no problem to bring your bike on the ship. Of course they would not let me ride it on deck for obvious safety reasons, but it is a great way to get into all the scenic nooks and crannies Bermuda has to offer. The speed limit is 22kmh very acheivable speed for most riders but you have to keep moving as the roads are narrow, and more crowded than 5th ave in NY city. But the vistas are breath taking! In the end of September, they have the tour of Bermuda and you can watch the (local pros] in thier races. The parks and Bermuda Rail Trail are definately worth checking out. To top it all off was the endless questions and looks from passenger and crew alike. I even gave out a few reference cards to the crew. This was fantastic, seeing Bermuda on a Bike Friday at ones own pace just could not be beat.
