Tab under bottom bracket

Symptoms
I noticed that there is a small tab on the bottom bracket. Is this supposed to be a peg for a pump? Not sure what the function is.

Bike Friday tandems and Pocket Rocket models have pump pegs, but the Pocket Llama should not. If this tab you speak of is a ring, it is there to route the cables under the bottom bracket.
Pocket Rocket and Pocket Llama models are also built with a slotted tab above the bottom bracket for the installation of a front derailleur, even if your bike is not built with one.
To use the pump peg (when equipped), you'll need to find a a frame pump that has an indentation for the peg and a concave nose that nestles against the headset. The pump's spring pressure locks it onto the frame.
