Hi there! The main reason for for the Indian trip is a visit to the former kingdom of Sikkim. It is equally important to start the New Year with some good distance (Delhito Sikkim is some 1000 km). Also, of course it's miserably cold in Europe at this time of the year. I don't like it very hot either as was the case in Indonesia. The after effects of two nasty flu's have finally left me. My prolonged time here in HK is always spent eating eating ine great Chinese dinner after another. Boy! They know how to enjoy eating here. I am not exactly a beginner in wolfing down food either, in fact, I often astonish them that a small little guy like me can eat them to despair. Money does not seem to matter! Last Thursday the food bill was $US600 - that's half a Pocket Llama for dinner! We had Shark Fin soup, tons of fresh shrimp, Peking Duck, fine lamb, garlic with greens and on and on the dishes kept coming .. best wishes, Heinz.

Postcard from Heinz, written on one of his original postcards featuring his 50 lb 3 speed steel bicycle - no longer, thanks to his foldable, packable Pocket Llama
