Heinz and his Pocket Llama with Mr Lee of Flying Ball, Bike Friday Dealer in Honkers.
What's the World's Most Traveled Man, Heinz Stucke, doing on a Friday these days? He's still breaking Guinness Records, and we recently got a cyber blip from him via Bike Friday international dealer Flying Ball, Hong Kong:
Greetings from Hong Kong! Long time no see -no hear -no talk. It is not your fault, I was hiding in Indonesia, fortunatly I didn't have to ride the tsunami! I was in Sulawesi at the time. In Hong Kong I stay with Mr. Lee of Flying Ball. He is my old friend for many years. (The gloriously years). He knows all about Bike Friday,we used to joke: Heinz meanz beanz and Lee means bicycles! I will send you some pictures taken recently by snail mail. They are originals and I want them back .
My next stop will be India (short ride to Skim - [does he mean sikkim? - Ed]) and on to the south of Yemen (Sucotra Island).
Since leaving Eugene in July I have piled 8300 km on Bike Friday.
By March '05 I hope to be back in my base in Paris.
Are you planning to meet me there? (That would make my day).
I will talk to you on the phone soon.
