Lynette with Bike in Mexico

ABOVE: Color-coordinated with local architecture in Terry sunprotection clothing www.terrybicycles.com (no they don't spnsor me, I just believe in telling you what works!). The shorts are the ONLY ones I have ever found with a handy side pocket on the right leg, for your credit card, $20 bill or cellphone. OK, I admit they were actually attached to a Terry Skort; I separated the skirt from the shorts because I like things interchangeable to the nth degree... you can buy the skirt separate too. But not the shorts with the side pocket - lobby them to offer it!

The Galfromdownunder spent 1 Christmas and 7 weeks exploring hilly Chiapas and the flat-as-a-tortilla Yucatan in Mexico on her Bike Friday. Ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes (underground wells), fabulous doors and windows that would make Martha Stewart weep (with joy, as she cashes in on their colorways ) and a bad case of dehydration make for 'bueno' tale that will leave you saying, 'and to think I avoided Mexico because I thought it was dangerous!'

The parts are arranged in blog format, most recent entry at the top.
