"I CANT' BELIEVE HOW THOSE LITTLE BIKES GO!" - one of most often heard comments in the slipstream of a BF paceline in Cycle Oregon 2003. Over 77 BF owners from all over the world converged on the 7-day event which averaged 65-85 miles a day. The neat Cycle Oregon Logo made into a bike rack in Joseph. Before departure, 18 BF owners landed in Eugene for a factory tour and lunch ride. Gaylynn test rides a foldable fairing for her Sat R Day. Hanz, Gretta and Lisa Scholz at the pre-Cycle Oregon lunch ride on a bike path through some of Eugene's wetlands. *Yawn* Crack o' dawn, the 18 customers and 9 staff board the special bus to Baker City, 8 hours away. All bikes went into TravelBags and were stowed under the bus...

Beverly Anderson from Minnesota, 70 years young, has traveled far and wide on her Bike Friday and 65-85 miles a day are gonna be a cinch! Vicki Helfenstein agrees, The five Sat R Day owners all the way from Japan: Hiroki Ono, Kuniko Sonoyama, Mori Hitoshi, Maki Watanabe and Ken Kyobashi. Wave... little do they know what a long haul it is to get out east ... At a coffee stop, the Scholz Bros hear no evil, smell no evil, see no evil. The Three Sisters hover in the distance. First night in Baker City, Sat R Day owner Tom Saville arrived early to snag us a campsite. AirGlide owner John Chamberlain seen rushing to his tent to close a deal by cellphone.

These washstands unintentionally matched different bodies with different heads. I was waiting for the head of the girl with the pony tail to line up with the body of a big hairy guy ...
