I was quite amused during my recent trip to Northern Thailand when Chris, my MTB buddy placed one of these little suckers beside my parked Tikit. Similar to the chili, the Tikit is understated in size but punches way above its weight in performance. We brought our folding bikes to explore the many hilly roads around Pai, a small rural town situated in a lush green fertile valley where rice fields and orchards abound. With its surrounding hills, Pai is considered the Switzerland of Thailand due to its beauty and cool weather in the winter months. Add a slow lazy river and its truly a place to chill out. Some folks wanted a simpler conceptual fold than the original 'hyper folding' tikitTM so we now have the 'Model T' tikitTM With a 'T' handle stem release it takes 10 seconds ( twice as long as the 'hyper folding' 'Just the tikitTM') to fold and cost $151 less.Both tikitTM stem folding styles are now available in stock and Built to Order models. They cover the range from single speed city bikes to 24 speed tourers with 17 color combinations to choose from. Some folks wanted a stiffer stem on their tikitTM. All new tikitTM have now been stiffened. Thank you for the feedback. An upgrade kit is even available if you feel the need to do so on your 2007 model. Just give us a call.
