ALL RIGHT, we admit it. Sometimes it's a bit of a task getting that rear rack into the TravelCase, depending on what size kitchen sink you also insist on packing. Gavin Donahue, our Final Assembly guru, came up with this elegant solution.

Click here to see a demo of the GD rack being folded. You'll need something like Quicktime (free download) to see it.

The GD Folding Rear Rack collapses and packs flat - way flatter than our standard rear rack. It boasts the following thoughtful features:

* A mount at the very back for your rear light, so that you can carry any size load on rack top and still be seen at night, which is a problem with some seatpost mounted lights (why didn't anyone think of this before)

* A pair of triangular stays at the bottom that keep heavily laden bags from twisting into the wheel.

* The rack top is long enough, and the cross bars placed intelligently enough, to ensure even the biggest feet don't hit the bags (Gavin has big feet so he knows)

The rack is secured to any Bike Friday with 4 Allen bolts. It's handcrafted by Jeff Faletti, Special Parts guy.

The only place you'll find one is from Bike Friday. To order, try out our fledgling e-catalog , still in its infancy, or Contact Customer Service service@bikefriday.com, 1-800-777=0258 to order your fast-getaway GD Folding Rack!
