500 MILES FOR LIFE: The end of September I cycled 500 miles in Texas for the Lone Star Circle of Life Bike Tour. Great event. Rode with LAB's Preston Tyree as you can see from the attached photo in Gruene, TX. The LSCOL is a ride done to raise the awareness of the need for more donors of blood, bone marrow, tissue and organs. Each day the eleven cyclists ride for different honorees (donors or recipients) ending with a media event of some sort. At the end of the week I didn't want to get off my bike, kept feeling stronger every day.
