Neer, Lise - Pocket Llama

WHEN ONLY A LLAMA WILL DO ... In August of '07 I flew with my Friday and my husband to my high school reunion in Hanover, NH, and enjoyed a couple of scenic, roller-coaster tours around the Upper Valley area. I'd forgotten how steep those hills are. This shot was taken on the bridge over the Connecticut River, between two of my favorite states (NH and VT). The 6" 'bike lane' was a bit of a challenge; thank goodness for a short bridge and minimal traffic! My 12+ year-old Pocket Llama loved the climb up Thetford Hill, and received many compliments at lunchtime from the group at a neighboring picnic table at Isabel's Cafe in East Thetford, VT.
