Tours, France As you can see below I have quite a long “story” with bikes! One of our mechanics, Sebastien, and I have good experiences traveling by bike in France as well as abroad. Sebastien has been to South America, Mali, Morocco, and I have been New Zealand, Morocco, Jamaica, Cuba and another trip from San Francisco to Mexico. I have also done the 16th PARIS-BREST-PARIS Randonneur (http://www.paris-brest-paris.org/EN/index.php) which gave me the opportunity to meet numerous American riders! For 14 years we have been renting bicycle, all over the Loire Valley area, both for the people who live in town and for the tourists who want to ride the Loire Valley. In 2005, we opened a bike store and we have been selling city bikes, hybrid bikes as well as mountain bikes. Our customers are more interested in urban or touring bikes. Also, for 3 years now we have been designing and selling customized Self-guided bike tours along the Loire River and our clientèle is international (American, British, New Zealand, Australian, and European). During the summer, we regularly happen to meet with cyclists who know and use Bike Friday! We aim to develop another clientèle on a larger geographic area: the entire French territory! Indeed, when last autumn we started to look at Bike Friday, we read your internet forum and we noticed that there is a need: Many French people buy their Bike Friday in either Spain or England. |
