The Cycling Salon is a Bike Friday Test Ride Dealer The Cycling Salon, LLC, is located in the Westmoreland neighborhood of Southeast Portland. The shop, which operates by appointment only, offers bicycle fitting, assessment and consultation, personal bicycle shopping, and basic repair and maintenance. Although geared for women who need assistance with cycling needs, everyone is welcome at the Cycling Salon. The shop is owned and operated by Carol Farr, a physical therapist and trained bicycle fitter, and Audrey Block, a lifelong cyclist who completed the course in basic repair and maintenance at United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon. Carol and Audrey are excited to join the Bike Friday family. “We’re impressed by the way the bikes ride and handle, and the ability to travel with them for adventures or business trips. In addition, they are an affordable option for riders—especially women—who could benefit from a custom built frame.” Carol and Audrey have visited the showroom and the factory in Eugene to learn more about the bikes and just purchased Pocket Crusoes (for light touring and sport riding) for their own use.
