The price of your Bike Friday primarily will be determined by the level of components you choose for your bike. Our Select Group offers a solid choice of components that would bring your Bike Friday price to $1998, including a Belt Drive system.
If you prefer to upgrade your components, well, the sky is the limit.

The BF design team has been searching the world for solutions since, and finally landed the final pieces to the puzzle to bring you the Carbon Belt Drive tikit. It comes with the new Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal hub gear.

The Model T tikit is Bike Friday's most affordable quick fold great riding compact folder.
With 16-inch wheels and 8 speeds, the Model T offers all the basic elements of a wonderful commuting, or recreational bike built to not only fold but to be ridden a lot.
It folds fast -- in just less than 10 seconds after loosening one twist-locking fastener. Not quite as fast as the quickest folding technology here at Bike Friday, but plenty fast for most. It also unfolds fast and maintains your seat and handlebar adjustments.
The Model T can be dressed up with all our travel accessories inlcuding racks and bags, and it comes from the same reliable design philosophy as all Bike Friday travel bikes. That means it will perform and last.
Originally called the Model T because it has a 'twiddly' knob instead of the 'Hyper' fold that has no 'twiddly' realeases. (the hyper fold is magic) And it also only comes in Ink Black, recalling Ford's original Marketing theme about the Model T Ford.
The Pocket Companion is built for travel, daily utility, recreational riding and exercise. It is based on the NWT with a simpler slighlty less expensive bike in mind..
The Companion with the Select Group is available in your choice of three top tube lengths (52 cm, 56 cm, 60 cm) to fit individuals from about 4-foot-6 to 6-foot-4 (1.3m to 1.9m).
It comes in 3 frame colors (Red, Blue, & Black) along with black cable housing and black or White decals.
It has a Select parts group optimized for best value in entry level but quality equipment, for ride, durability and function. Best value group for a Bike Friday with high expectations of bicycle working well, simplicity, & at best price.

The Select NWT would be a no fail choice for a high end touring bike with a "no travel challenge problem" attitude. Companion owners do report a high level of bike and ride satisfaction.
