"Please be nice to this bike"  Steve Fahrner asked, when sending his '95 Pocket Rocket in for an overhaul. "It has given me years of great service. From the cobbled climb up the Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro to virtually all of the major summits and passes in the Alps (I believe this thing has climbed the Alpe d'Huez about 20 times), it has been a wonderful bike. It even managed a podium finish in a local Time Trial up the Col d' Ornon (in photo above), thereby upholding the honor of old Americans on wacky bikes ..."
