Napa Tour de Cure
Hi Peter,
Hope all is well by you. My wife and I rode the 50-mile course for the Napa Tour de Cure to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. Our 10-year-old niece Jessie has type 1 diabetes so this is a cause very close to our family.
The tikit performed like a champ, on mile 34 I was able to average 19.4 mph, and 12.1 mph overall.
My wife worked hard pushing her heavy Raleigh city bike the whole way. I almost have her convinced she needs a Bike Friday!
Soon I hope, I can go a lot faster. Anyway here's a few pictures our team of four which raised $3,200 for the ADA and you folks helped make this possible!
The Napa event raised about 1.2 million dollars!
be well,
Brian Warner
