Iceland and France
The bikes performed flawlessly. We packed them in their cases three separate times, and quick folded them several times.
We did manage to bend a chain wheel (operator error) but fortunately a pair of pliers straightened things out and no time was wasted. All the gears and brakes were flawless -- and indeed, we really didn’t have to adjust anything at all!
So, as you see, we were in Iceland and France. It was too hot in France for this less than intrepid cyclist -- but Iceland was a balmy 55 degrees and perfect for cycling. The picture of Rick in the park with the statue was taken in Reykjavik. The other two are in France (Avignon) in the garden of the Pope’s Palace and out on a dirt road in the countryside near Uzes.
