I don't know how I survived without a BF before this. I gotta thank Peter for his patience and time helping me get it right.

In preparation for employment in Afghanistan, I found an excuse to get a bike that travels. BF is the only bike that fit all my specs (made in USA limited my search and a test ride of a BF vs a Daihon convinced me to stick with a BF).

In preparing for deployment, I spent two weeks in Indiana and was able to enjoy the beautiful countryside and Indianapolis, thanks to my BF.

Camp Atterbury is in the middle of nowhere with almost no public transportation so my BF was a god-send (40 mile rides were easy and comfortable and quick jaunts to the outlet mall 10 miles away were quicker and cheaper than waiting for a taxi that costs about $25).

I opted for a Llama so I can add larger tires to tackle unknown terrain; flared drop bars for more comfortable hand positions; SRAM chain for easy maintenance; and bar end shifters for simplicity and reliability. I am overjoyed with my bike and absolutely pleased with Peter's help.
