My Bike Friday arrived last Friday afternoon. When I arrived home from work, I watched the video, read the manual, carefully unpacked it (taking pictures all along the way), and built up the bike.

I went to bed with a smile on my face. The next morning, my girlfriend Shawn and I headed north to Big Fork, MT for a day of breaking in the bike and enjoying a great spring day in Montana!

After 25 awesome miles of riding, I have to say it road just like my Trek 520. The only exception was my more upright posture grabbed a bit more of the headwind, but once I dropped down on the bars I was cruising again.

I am now commuting everyday with my Bike Friday and I am planning my next excursion shortly! I have temporarily named my Bike Friday Freddy Krueger because it arrived last April, Friday the 13th! Maybe it should be Jason. It will be renamed to a feminine name shortly, maybe Carrie!
