Sandy and I wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary in France, and what better way to do it then on a tandem.

We spent six weeks cycling the Loire, Brittagne, and Normandie on our TT-XL, and spent our anniversary day in the beautiful village of Beuvron-en-Auge in Normandie.

Riding the tandem got us up close and personal with the French people in a manner that one cannot get when driving. During D-Day week, an old Frenchman stopped to notice our bike, and upon learning we were Americans, gave us a bottle of wine.
