 Jackie Link in San Fran.
San Francisco is fabulous by bike! Jackie Link (left) loves to travel around the world or around the block on her Friday.

Also check the Events Calendar often.
My name is Jackie Link, email jcleo01 (at) hotmail (dot) com. I'm the new club co-leader, along with Berkeley's Ben Piper (Ben has since moved to a new place - he'll pop up on his Friday somewhere else soon).  I live in San Francisco and have a Petite Pocket Crusoe which I've taken to Portugal and New Zealand. I'm retired and can ride most any day of the week when I'm not off adventuring so feel free to get in touch for a spontaneous ride.

Dan Kaljian, owner of 2 Bike Fridays, will use any excuse to go for a ride. He knows SF better than his own front door, and is best buddies with Bob Vorce, BF Club of Palo Alto leader. Contact Dan on 518-1064 (cell) or email dankaljian at hotmail dot com (though he's out riding more than emailing).

For those who happen to be in or passing through SF town, renowned SF bicycle activist and 2x Bike Friday owner Kathryn Roberts is delighted to meet up with BF aficionados for a latte, a spin and a natter about Bike Friday. Contact her on (415) 225-5948 (no email).

Thanks to Diane Savard who got the club up and running in 2003, but has moved a little further out of the Bay area. She says: I'm an avid hiker and cyclist. In just two years owning my Bike Friday, I've ridden it in Canada, Arizona, California, France, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic. I love trail running in the Bay Area on weekends. I spent the first half of my life in Connecticut and the second half in the SF Bay Area. My dream is to be able to travel with my Bike Friday to a foreign destination at least two weeks to a month a year and spend time on both coasts enjoying whatever each has to offer. As for my day job - I've been in telecommunications for most of my career. Diane shares co-leadership with Jackie Link and Ben Piper, and welcomes you to partake in the established SF singles hiking and biking group, Hikanbyke.
