Bike Friday Club of America
CA - Sacramento Chapter
CA - Sacramento Chapter

Folks from as far as Alameda, Napa and San Andreas came to ride, eat pizza and watch Galfromdownunder movies in Jan 2008.
Also check the Events Calendar.
WE ARE the club in Capitol of California! We try to have some sort of ride once every month. Our riders are of varied backgrounds and abilities so we try to keep the rides around 20 to 30 miles with a stop for coffee and bicycle comparisons.
A typical ride:
Our inaugural ride on Sat Sep 23, 2006, will start at the Guy West Bridge. This bridge is a replica of the Golden Gate and crosses the American River at the back of Sac State (California State University Sacramento). The ride will be 10 miles out and 10 miles back. We will be stopping at Steamers Coffee Shop in Old Sacramento. The ride will go along the American River Bike Trail (hard to get lost). It will be great fun, easy and will allow us to get to know each other and our abilities.
As of January 2008, Carmichael Cycles is a Bike Friday dealer and friend of the Club. Check out their blog.
I'd like to invite Bike Friday owners and other interested folks in the Central Valley Area to ride with the club. That includes folks from Davis, Elverta, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Winters, Woodland, Auburn, Placerville, Roseville, Granite Bay, Fairfield, Vacaville to mention a few of the local towns, and of course Yuba City and Marysville. Join the fold!
