The 2013 Silk with the Select Group brings the smooth, quiet and clean combination of Gates Carbon Belt Drive technology with a Shimano Alfine 8 Internal Hub at a reasonable price.
The Silk 2013 Select Group includes an upgrade to the new Bike Friday cartridge threadless headset.
The 2013 Select Silk includes the new Bike Friday cartridge threadless headset, a Gates Carbon Belt CDC Drive to go with Alfine 8 Internal Hub, Nexus Twist Shifters, Avid disc brakes and Kenda Kontact [406] tires.
[NOTE: The Gates Carbon Drive Belt with the Select Group is not a CenterTrack Belt.]
With the Select Group, you select your frame size from three basic options (52 cm, 56 cm and 60 cm top tube equivalents), choose a frame color (Flag Red, Green Gear Green, Cream Soda Blue and Ink Black are no charge) as well as one of seven decal/cable housing color options.
A Bike Consultant will take your body measurements to help determine what frame size will fit your body. You can compare frame color and decal/cable housing color combinations by viewing our Color Module.
The Select Group makes ordering so simple that you can submit a basic order by filling out the Select Order Form.
NOTE: Saddle and Pedals are not included.
